Automate the Busywork Without Handing Over Your Systems or Your Data

Your systems stay in place. The automation works around them.Your existing systems stay in place; the automation works around them, not the other way round.

What TrustAuto Does

Automation You Can Govern, Run on Your Own Infrastructure

Two things are always true: your existing systems stay the authoritative record, and every action the automation takes is scoped, logged, and traceable to a person.

  • Built on Tools You Can Run Yourself

Power Automate when your business already lives in Microsoft 365; self-hosted n8n when you want everything on your own servers with no per-task SaaS dependency. There is no proprietary engine to get locked into.

  • The Engine Orchestrates — It Is Not Your Source of Truth

TrustAuto handles tasks, approvals, timers, escalations, and exceptions. Your CRM, ERP, and records stay the authoritative copy. The workflow layer never quietly becomes the place your data lives.

  • Connectors Are Adapters, Not Owners

Email, messaging, and system integrations deliver, transform, and connect. They do not take ownership of your business logic or your customer data.

  • Scoped, Role-Based Access

A person, a role, or an integration only ever touches the data its task needs. An invoicing step does not get the full customer record; a reminder does not carry details it should not.

  • Every Action Is Logged and Attributable

Who triggered it, what data it used, which system ran it, who approved it, where the result was stored. The audit trail is built in, not bolted on afterward.

  • People Decide Where It Matters

Automation drafts, routes, and prepares the work; a person makes the call on anything that needs judgment. Human review is part of the process, not a workaround.

  • On-Premises or Hybrid by Design

Sensitive data does not have to leave your premises to make a workflow run. You choose what stays local and what, if anything, uses external services.

  • Works With the Systems You Already Have

TrustAuto is a layer over your existing tools, not a platform you migrate onto. Nothing gets ripped out and relearned from scratch.

How We Build It

We Map the Process Before We Automate It

Most Automation Fails Because the Process Was Never Mapped

The problem is rarely the lack of tools — it is automation bolted onto a process nobody mapped beforehand. TrustAuto works the other way round: we automate on top of the processes that already work, removing the repetitive friction without forcing your team to change how they operate or relearn closed software.

Understand the process

What actually happens today, step by step — before any tool is chosen.

Identify the requirements

What data is involved at each step, and what rules apply to it.

Design the architecture

Where each step runs and where the data sits — on-prem, hybrid, or external.

Build with controls

Audit trails, scoped access, and human checkpoints in place from the start.

Implement and monitor

Deploy, then keep watch as volumes, exceptions, and requirements change.

Power Automate or n8n

Two Engines, One Approach

The same architecture either way

Whichever engine fits, what surrounds it does not change: scoped access, logged actions, human checkpoints, and your systems left in place. For notifications, either engine can deliver through an on-prem SMSEagle SMS gateway — SMS or WhatsApp with automatic fallback — so recipient phone numbers never pass through a cloud SMS provider.

Power Automate

Fits when you are standardized on Microsoft 365 and Dataverse. It connects natively to the Office estate your team already signs into, with governance handled through your existing tenant.

Self-hosted n8n

Fits when you want full control on your own servers — no per-task licensing, no data leaving your premises, and the freedom to run it entirely on-prem or in a sovereign cloud you control.

FAQs

TrustAuto — Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers for teams deciding what to automate and where their data goes.

Power Automate or n8n — which one do we get?
Whichever fits your setup. If your business runs on Microsoft 365, Power Automate usually connects with the least friction. If you want everything on your own servers with no per-task licensing, self-hosted n8n is the better base. We recommend one during the roadmap, based on your systems — not before.
Do you replace our existing systems?
No. TrustAuto is a layer over the tools you already use. Your CRM, practice-management, accounting, or ERP system stays the authoritative record; the automation connects to it rather than absorbing it.
Where does our data live?
Wherever you decide. The engine can run fully on-premises or in a hybrid setup. You choose which steps, if any, use external services, and sensitive data does not have to leave your premises for a workflow to run.
Who can see what?
Access is scoped by role. A person, a role, or an integration only ever touches the data its specific task requires — an invoicing step never receives a full customer record it has no reason to hold.
Is there an audit trail?
Yes, on every action: who triggered it, what data it used, which system executed it, who approved it, and where the result was stored. That record is part of how the automation is built, not an add-on.
What happens when an automation hits something unexpected?
It stops and routes the exception to a person rather than guessing. Timers, escalations, and approval steps are part of the design, so edge cases land with the right staff member instead of failing silently.
Is the free roadmap the starting point?
It is the recommended starting point. The roadmap maps your processes, data, and compliance posture so the implementation is scoped to what you actually run. You can act on it with us or independently.
